Dog Friendly Breaks

You are here:

Love spending time with your dog and want to bring them to Lynton & Lynmouth with you?

Lynton & Lynmouth is the perfect place for you and the whole family. Exmoor has miles of vast moorland, deep valleys, woods and cascading streams so they can enjoy the great outdoors with you.

Whatever the breed or size of your well-behaved doggy, Exmoor has a place for you all.

Enjoying the best of Exmoor with your dog is never a problem, most venues and family attractions will welcome your well-mannered pooch. Lynton & Lynmouth is super dog-friendly and your four-legged friends are welcomed in most cafés, and some restaurants during the daytime.

We recommend checking with each place beforehand to ensure your doggy can join you. Local cafes welcome dogs and often have jars of doggy treats and plenty of fresh water for them to drink. Several cafés have outdoor space which is perfect for the whole family to enjoy time together.

Finding accommodation for your whole family and your doggy is never an issue. Lynton & Lynmouth has plenty of Hotels, B&Bs, Self-catering and Campsites that welcome dogs

We all love to visit the beach and North Devon has some of the best beaches in the South West. Playing on the beach and in the sea with your doggy is one of the best things to do, and most beaches will welcome your well-behaved dog too. It’s always best to check which beaches will accept your four-legged friend before you set off, some of the larger ones may have seasonal restrictions.

Dogs are allowed on both Eastern and Western Beaches in Lynmouth, all year round.
