This historic, wildlife-rich and the panoramic circular walk takes you through the lives of the Bronze Age to evidence of the 1952 floods.
Walkthrough tunnels of 100yr sessile oaks, waterfalls, bright gorse, purple heather, butterflies and wonderful woodland and coastal smells.
Fill your senses – smells, taste and spectacular sights, including Hoar Oak Cottage, via Cheriton following Tarka trail or Two Moors Way.
To the west of Lynton & Lynmouth lies the beautifully rugged Morte Point and Bull Point Peninsula.
Whichever corner you turn in the Heddon Valley, whatever time of day and however the sunlight falls, the trees and hue are just beautiful.
Great Hangman – England’s highest shear cliff face 244m (800ft) is also the same height as the Shard.
