a beautiful and rugged coastal walk
Further to the west of Lynton & Lynmouth lies the beautifully rugged Morte Point / Bull Point peninsula
Starting from either Lee bay (nr Ilfracombe), Morthoe or Woolacombe you will certainly spot seals, masses of butterflies, honey bees, twists of Devonian geology and 360 degree views…
Look for Lundy island to the North West, and parts of a ship wreck on Rockham Beach, Hartland point even on a misty day and the cows grazing this heather coated landscape.
Lots of paths means you can cut back your day as and when you wish!
Distance: (this route) 6.7km (10 miles)
Time: 2 hrs +
Terrain: gravel footpaths and grass
