Situated between Braunton and Croyde, Saunton Sands is a golden sandy beach that stretches 3 miles of the North Devon coastline.  This beautiful beach is backed by the impressive Braunton Burrows, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

This is a popular beach with surfers and families due to the long stretch of water perfect for swimmers and surfers and it is much more suited to beginners and intermediate surfers than the northern Croyde Bay.

There are plenty of facilities; large car park, food outlets, beach shops and public toilets.  Saunton Sands is the only beach in North Devon to hire out Landeez Wheelchairs and NOMAD All-Terrain Wheelchairs to help less abled people enjoy the beach and shallow surf.

Dogs are allowed on Saunton Sands beach all year round.
