Nothing to do here but walk, explore and simply enjoy the stunning views over the Bristol Channel, and Lynton & Lynmouth.

This is a popular place to enjoy the best of the afternoon sun and walk leisurely along the various trails and paths that criss-cross this nature-rich patch of land.

Walk along the trail to Butter Hill, some 1000ft above sea level, and take in the incredible views.  It’s a great place to spot ravens and falcons.

In late Summer this whole area is bursting with purple and pink heather, bolstered by the striking yellow of the gorse bushes. Beautiful.  Continue walking to pick up the South West Coast path for a breathtaking walk through Glenthorne Cliffs back to the Foreland Lighthouse.
