Share the Love: 1975 in Lynton & Lynmouth

Back in 1975 …

Back in 1974-5 Mum, Dad, two brothers, my friend and I came by coach from Colne in Lancashire to Butlins at Minehead.

Whilst there we had a day trip to Lynton & Lynmouth, we all fell in love and extended our holiday to spend three extra days in Lynton!

The following years we returned, walked to Watersmeet, went swimming in the river, played cricket on the grass by the pitch-and-putt. I remember swimming in the old Victoria sea swimming pool and watching cricket at the Valley of the Rocks.
