First aid training course poster with outdoor activities in Exmoor National Park.

This comprehensive two-day qualification is designed for outdoor professionals and employees who work in rural or remote environments. It will enable learners to undertake the role of the First Aider when emergency medical assistance could be more than 30 minutes away. It will provide learners with the skills and knowledge to respond to a range of emergency outdoor situations including when and how to move a casualty, major illnesses and injuries, administering CPR and managing an unresponsive casualty.

The course is delivered by a qualified outdoor professional, who holds the Summer Mountain Leader award as well as having both coaching and leadership awards in canoeing and kayaking. Emily the trainer, is also a Duke of Edinburgh leader and assessor and has a wealth of experience in leading expeditions overseas.
