Lynmouth’s Western Beach

You are here:

Lynmouth’s Western Beach

Lynmouth has two beaches both are strewn with boulders and large rocks. Lynmouth’s Western Beach can be accessed close to the Rhenish Tower almost opposite the Exmoor National Park Centre. It is very close to the shops and cafes, however, there are no facilities on or near the beach and there is no lifeguard so caution should be exercised.

The Western Beach is small and it’s not easy to get to the water edge, but it’s great for messing around in the sand, rock pooling, or just sitting with a bag of chips.

Dogs are welcome all year round on this beach.
