Welcome to the Lyn Valley Classic '23
Sunday 11th June 10am-4pm, 2023
100s of Supercars, Sports Cars, Classic Cars, Car Tours, Live Music & Much More
The Lyn Lions Club welcomes you to this year’s Lyn Valley Classic. We hope you have a fun day out, helping raise money for good causes while celebrating all things motoring and the beautiful setting of Lynton and Lynmouth.
You’ll see classic cars, tractors, supercars, motorbikes, and much more. All the exhibits mean a great deal to their owners, who kindly pay to bring and display them for your benefit. There is no competition on the day, as we believe that all the entries are equally special to their owners, regardless of their budget; it’s about loving and enjoying them.
The Lyn Valley Classic was founded by a few local business owners with a passion for all things motorized, who wished to raise money for local charities and showcase our beautiful twin villages. The first event featured just 12 cars on display in Lynmouth, providing a warm welcome for a visiting car tour.
The event is now run by the Lyn Lions Club, made possible by the generous support of volunteers, sponsors, the Town Council, exhibitors, and all who give freely of their time and money so that all proceeds go to charity. As a non-profit event, your generous donations support people who are less fortunate and whose lives are improved by your kindness.
We are blessed to have such a wonderful natural setting, with the Lyn Valley providing a spectacular coastline and hills as a backdrop to the picturesque twin villages. The Exmoor National Park, right on our doorstep, offers stunning driving roads with equally impressive scenery. We have several driving tours joining us from around the area, having used one of the fantastic road routes leading them here.
Most importantly, we must mention the car owners, clubs, and businesses that pay to bring their cherished and much-loved machines for you to enjoy. Without them, we couldn’t have a show. It’s this continuing spirit of generosity and the money raised from visitors’ donations that make the Lyn Valley Classic worthwhile.
There’s plenty to see and do, both at the event and in the twin villages. If you’d like to enter a vehicle, bring a suitable trade stand, or get involved in any way, please visit the Lyn Valley Classic website at www.lynvalleyclassic.co.uk or find us on Facebook – Lyn Valley Classic.
Thank you for visiting, enjoy the day, and please give generously to support the charities.
