For 2025, we decided to try out advertising in the Visit Exmoor Annual Visitor Magazine “Your Exmoor 2025”. Its something we haven’t tried before and will no doubt encourage more visitors to our towns.
We have opted for a full page advert for Lynton & Lynmouth, at a cost of £1,100.00 (£925.00+ VAT). We already had some residual funds from a levelling-up fund offered through UKGOV via the North Devon Council, and also contributions from local business annual memberships to Visit Lynton & Lynmouth.
Estimated Print Run: 60,000 | Distributed around Exmoor and the Greater Exmoor area.
The intention of the advert is to inspire visitors to Exmoor to visit Lynton & Lynmouth, for the day, or hopefully longer and most certainly to make a return visit!
The hero image used really shows off the dramatic coast and countryside of Lynton & Lynmouth, we think it looks very intriguing and will hopefully encourage more tourists to visit!
This beautiful drone image was taken earlier in 2024 by Josh Tucker, paid for with monies received from a North Devon Tourism Fund shared between Visit Lynton & Lynmouth, Visit Ilfracombe, Visit Combe Martin and Woolacombe & Mortehoe TIC.
The magazine is due for distribution in February/March 2025.
