Sinai House was built in 1850 as a gentleman’s residence, for the Lord Mayor of London. It became a hotel in the 1930’s and a guest house in the 1960’s.
We bought Sinai House in 2016. The house is built into the hillside of Sinai Hill so offers the most incredible sea views over to the coast of Wales and across to Exmoor, Countersbury Hill and Big Red. Victor and Alison purchased this dream home in December 2016.
We have 8 luxury rooms. The guest lounge is quiet and relaxing overlooking the sea from both windows, with a swap library, games, large comfy chairs and sofas where you can meet friends and hopefully make new ones! Breakfast is served in the Dining room with sea views and eating on the balcony is possible in summer.
The bar is very well stocked with local ales, ciders and a selection of wines. Off the lounge and dining room is a large balcony where guests can sit out with a coffee or a jug of Pimms.
