Last night we were delighted to witness the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway being awarded a prestigious Transport Trust Heritage “Red Wheel”.It joins over 800 interesting Transport Heritage sites that have been recognised for their importance and significance in the development of Britain’s rich transport history.
We couldn’t agree more, just imagine Lynton & Lynmouth without the Cliff Railway! Congratulations to everyone at the Cliff Railway from the dedicated Drivers and skilled Engineers, and the lovelies in the Cliff Top Café for having to carry probably the largest scones in the world.
