Stockleigh Lodge is situated on the outskirts of the village of Exford, which is the centre of the Exmoor National Park, one of only three remaining parts of Great Britain known for its peace and tranquillity.
Stockleigh Lodge is over 110 years old and has been a Bed and Breakfast establishment for over thirty years. Stockleigh Lodge is surrounded by its own wooded grounds and is situated overlooking the village of Exford and over to the moorland towards Dunkery Beacon.
Stockleigh Lodge is the place to visit at any time of the year, in the winter with log fires and full central heating and in the summer the large garden and veranda at the front of Stockleigh Lodge to sit and read or just relax.
There are nine letting bedrooms all of which are of a good size: three double rooms, two single rooms, two twin bedded rooms and two family rooms, all have full ensuite bathrooms. The rooms are comfortably furnished, centrally heated, double-glazed and have tea/coffee making facilities. The two family rooms have a double bed and single bed in them.
