Shepherds Hut, Brendon
Situated on the outskirts of Brendon in the Doone Valley and the Exmoor National Park, the shepherds hut is set in its own garden.
Here you can just sit and take in the fantastic scenery and try and spot some of our wildlife, including red deer, Exmoor ponies, buzzards, red kites & numerous songbirds, enjoy a BBQ or use the fire pit. If you are feeling more energetic, we are surrounded by miles of fantastic moorland and woodland walks, including the Coleridge way and the south west coast path, bridleways for horse riding or mountain biking and the river Lyn for canoeing. We are also in a designated dark skies area ideal for star gazing.
Fitted out to create a warm comfortable and relaxing space to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, while still having the convenience of electricity, full size double bed, log burner and kitchen area. There is a newly renovated private toilet/shower room in an adjacent barn. The shepherds hut is set on our small holding, in its own garden with table chairs, BBQ/fire pit, private parking and separate entrance.
