Pine Lodge

A warm welcome awaits you at Pine Lodge, a friendly and comfortable Victorian house set on a hillside overlooking the beautiful countryside of the West Lyn Valley.

Pine Lodge is ideally situated for exploring all that Exmoor and North Devon has to offer. Our guest parking is on the same level as the front door allowing you to pull in, park up and enjoy a car-free break, should you wish.

Pine Lodge is situated on a footpath perched above Lynton in the beautiful countryside of North Devon. Take a stroll downhill into the heart of Lynton with its eateries and shops or carry on to Lynmouth by foot or on the famous Cliff Railway. Take in the sights and sounds of Exmoor as you make your way to Watersmeet or watch the feral goats at play in the dramatic setting of the Valley of Rocks.

Pine Lodge makes a great base for guests who want to explore this beautiful part of the country by car. Visit the romantic setting of RD Blackmore’s novel, Laura Doone, follow a section of the South West Coast Path or visit the National Trust properties at Arlington and Dunster or RHS Garden Rosemoor, all of which are within an hour’s drive of Pine Lodge.

All of Pine Lodge’s first floor bedrooms are en suite with either a shower or bath with overhead shower. Enjoy your choice of freshly cooked breakfast in our charming dining room whilst watching the local birds and, if you are lucky, the red deer. Relax in our cosy guest lounge where you will find a range of local maps and information to help you plan your day. Whether you wish to walk and explore, run a marathon or simply seek a place to relax and unwind, here at Pine Lodge we do all we can to help you make the most of your time in Lynton.
