Doone Valley Campsite
Doone Valley Campsite are a family-friendly campsite located at the heart of Exmoor National Park.
Nestled in the Doone Valley, made famous by Richard Doddridge Blackmore who wrote the novel ‘Lorna Doone’, the campsite features toilets, free hot showers and pot wash. We also now have free WIFI on site.
The campsite is comprised of level fields beside a shallow stream set in the valley surrounded by hills and trees, and with easy access through the car park at Malmsmead.
This is an ideal way to get away from it all and experience the natural beauty of Exmoor around you. There are many walks around including the famous Doone Valley walk and if you are very lucky and quiet you may just get to see some Red Deer.
