THE ROCKFORD INN WELCOMES NEW MANAGER - LEE MUDKINS
Join Lee alongside front-of-house team Niki & Sam
They are really looking forward in bringing the Rockford back to the way it once was, with high-quality service coupled with cuisine to really write home about, served with an authentic smile and genuine passion from all involved.
Having recently been selected by Sarah and Cathryn, who also manage the Bonnicott House Hotel and Bay View Restaurant, the team at the Rockford have been carefully chosen to lead the venture forward, drawing on their years of hospitality and catering experience bring to you all of your favourite things.
The Rockford is able to provide great locally sourced food to its tables and is certainly worth making your reservation prior to arrivals as it can get rather busy, combined with gins from within 500 yards of the premises and some stunning authentic Exmoor Ales on tap you are sure to leave not disappointed.
Lee
Manager
Lee himself is a Lynton & Lynmouth faithful, having previously managed the Valley of Rocks Hotel, Lynton, where he successfully worked with the local community and brought together the hotel as a vibrant part of the community introducing specialist events catered for the local residents and even bringing the local jazz band “ The Stumblers” to a regular audience. Now at The Rockford, Lee is really excited about the quaint village pub’s future and can deliver on service and quality with his team. Always up for a friendly chat, Lee is sure to warmly welcome any patron visiting the premises.
Dog friendly and welcoming, you can finish off your nice walk along the East Lyn river with a great lunch or dinner or even just a quick drink en route at the Rockford Inn. With the new team in place, we are sure you will leave with fond memories and return again soon. In the summer, a small garden over looks directly onto the river, with the sound of the water flowing past and the feeling of serenity. Wifi is available at the Rockford Inn, but we do find many guests just enjoy the thought of being “away from it all” for a few hours to unwind and relax, and in the winter the roaring log fire will keep you warm and toasty inside with the relaxed atmosphere.
So visit the Rockford Inn, Lee & the team are really excited to see each and everyone.
