Celebrating 6 incredible years as one of Lynmouth's most popular & Delicious Award-winning cafés.
It has been 6 years since Aileen & Kathy first took over the Lynmouth Bay Café and what a journey it has been.
There have been many ups and a few downs over the years but we have continued to build on our philosophy of baking ourselves or buying from within the South West area produce that complements our cafe. During our time we have seen big changes in Lynton and Lynmouth with new galleries, eateries and retail shops featuring the best of local producers whether it be food or arts and crafts. Combined with the longstanding businesses they all bring a new vibrancy to this corner of North Devon and we feel lucky to be a part of it.
We have met so many lovely people, many of whom return year after year (sometimes more) and it is truly a delight when they walk through the door. It’s always great to catch up, with so many becoming good friends. To support our philosophy on using local producers we joined Food, Drink, Devon who amongst other things have been instrumental in promoting businesses even throughout Covid.
It would be fair to say that the highlight of 2021 was getting a gold award for hospitality and winning outright ‘Best Café’ in Devon.
