DESCRIPTION:Start your visit to West Ilkerton with a leisurely ramble around some easily accessible fields close to the farmhouse\, and meet some of our animals.\nThen gather up your packed lunch (bring your own food and drink) and come on a tractor-and-trailer adventure over to the far side of the farm for a picnic amidst stunning scenery followed by a tour of the fields where ewes and lambs plus cows and calves live during the summer. Get close to the livestock from the safety of our purpose-built trailer.\nCost £10 adult\, £ 8 for 10 to 16-year olds\, £5 for children 9 years and under.\nDogs on a lead are welcome on the walk but not on the trailer ride. Set against the rocky edge of Lynmouth\, these guided sessions explore the pools\, crevices and sea-washed edges where crabs\, anemones\, chitons and other small creatures can be found. \nLed by Exmoor National Park Rangers\, the event offers a simple\, practical introduction to the wildlife that lives between land and sea. It is a chance to slow down\, look properly\, and discover how much is happening in places that many people walk past without noticing. For visitors spending time in Lynmouth\, it is a good fit for families\, nature lovers and anyone looking for something active but not overcomplicated. \nConditions on the shoreline can change quickly\, so it is worth dressing for the weather and wearing footwear suitable for wet\, uneven rocks. Water shoes or sturdy wellies are encouraged.
