DESCRIPTION:Join the walking team at the Lorna Doone Valley on a two-hour guided walk around the Doone Valley and surrounding Exmoor Landscape. Each walk will take in amazing views of the vast and diverse landscape of the Doone Valley and Exmoor. Along the way you may be lucky enough to spot Exmoor ponies\, deer and a variety of different birds. Along with fantastic wildlife the valley is home to array of different wildflower and ancient trees. We will return to The Buttery café in time for lunch.

Get close to the livestock from the safety of our purpose-built trailer.\nCost £10 adult\, £ 8 for 10 to 16-year olds\, £5 for children 9 years and under.\nDogs on a lead are welcome on the walk but not on the trailer ride. Set against the rocky edge of Lynmouth\, these guided sessions explore the pools\, crevices and sea-washed edges where crabs\, anemones\, chitons and other small creatures can be found. \nLed by Exmoor National Park Rangers\, the event offers a simple\, practical introduction to the wildlife that lives between land and sea. It is a chance to slow down\, look properly\, and discover how much is happening in places that many people walk past without noticing. For visitors spending time in Lynmouth\, it is a good fit for families\, nature lovers and anyone looking for something active but not overcomplicated. \nConditions on the shoreline can change quickly\, so it is worth dressing for the weather and wearing footwear suitable for wet\, uneven rocks. Water shoes or sturdy wellies are encouraged.
