Some rafts even make it to the start line… which is all part of the fun. \nExpect maximum chaos\, enthusiastic crowds\, and the traditional barrage of flour bombs flying through the air as competitors battle the elements (and each other). It’s loud\, it’s daft\, and it’s one of Lynmouth’s most entertaining spectacles. \nA firm favourite for both locals and visitors\, the Raft Race is a brilliant example of Lynmouth’s playful spirit and love of a good laugh – best enjoyed with old clothes and a strong sense of humour.
