From 1st–14th July 2026\, the streets of Lynton & Lynmouth\, and the Lyn Valley\, are going full cinematic as the Scarecrow Festival returns — and this year’s theme is Movies.\nAs you wander through the villages\, keep your eyes open for big-screen legends\, family favourites\, cult classics and the occasional surprise\, all reimagined in straw and thread by local businesses and residents.\n\nThere’s no competition and no rush. Just creativity\, community\, and a great excuse to slow down\, explore\, and enjoy the show.Perfect for families\, film fans\, and anyone who fancies a wander with a bit of character along the way. \n\n Donation buckets will be out during the event to support local causes and help fund next year’s Scarecrow Festival.\nCome for a stroll.
