From 1st–14th July 2026\, the streets of Lynton & Lynmouth\, and the Lyn Valley\, are going full cinematic as the Scarecrow Festival returns — and this year’s theme is Movies.\nAs you wander through the villages\, keep your eyes open for big-screen legends\, family favourites\, cult classics and the occasional surprise\, all reimagined in straw and thread by local businesses and residents.\n\nThere’s no competition and no rush. Just creativity\, community\, and a great excuse to slow down\, explore\, and enjoy the show.Perfect for families\, film fans\, and anyone who fancies a wander with a bit of character along the way. \n\n Donation buckets will be out during the event to support local causes and help fund next year’s Scarecrow Festival.\nCome for a stroll. Stay for the stars.

Must be booked via our bookwhen platform.\n*Home Farm is a Working Farm and Children must be supervised at all times.\n\n Introducing The Chill Sessions A new SEND The Help Family Retreat at Home Farm\, Arlington Court.\nOnce a month\, on the first Sunday of every month\, we’ll be opening up a calm and welcoming space for families raising children with SEND to spend time together in nature.\n\nIf you know us through The Chill Tent\, you’ll recognise the same ethos here – creating gentle\, supportive environments where people can pause\, regulate and just be themselves. This time though\, we’re bringing those “chill” vibes outdoors.\n\nFamilies can expect:\n Nature-based arts & crafts Gardening and outdoor activities Wellbeing walks across the estate Space to connect with other SEND families A relaxed\, accepting environment where nobody needs to explain themselves\n\nThese sessions are completely free\, thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund\, and we are incredibly grateful for their support in making opportunities like this accessible to families who need them.\nA huge thank you as well to Shannon and The Gardeners Co. for trusting us with this beautiful space at Home Farm and allowing us to create something special for the SEND community here.\nParenting children with additional needs can sometimes feel isolating.The Chill Sessions are about changing that.\nA place to breathe.A place to connect.A place where everyone belongs.\n\n Home Farm\, Arlington Court First Sunday of every month Free – booking required
