Despite the disruptions to all our lives caused by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, businesses in Lynton & Lynmouth are doing their best to continue as normal.

We would like to make you aware of some of the changes, adaptations and safety measures that are in place to protect you during your stay and also help you get the most from your visit during these challenging times.

    You need to wear a mask when entering our shops or travelling on public transport and the Cliff Railway.

    Make space for others and avoid crowding. Take notice of street signs and one-way routes.

    Shops, cafes and restaurants may ask you to sanitise your hands upon entering. Please respect this.

    Please be patient as some businesses have reduced staff. You may need to pre-book attractions and restaurants.

If you fall ill or suspect you have coronavirus symptoms during your stay, notify your accommodation provider immediately and stay in your room.

The Cliff Railway is operating with COVID-19 restrictions in place. There is limited capacity per carriage and you will need to wear a mask.
