Exmoor's First ever Dark Sky Festival is being held from 19th-29th October.
A 10 day festival of activities for children and adults alike, enthusiasts, amateurs or the curious and anyone with a sense of wonder to explore and celebrate Exmoor's dark skies!
This festival enables people to experience the exceptional quality of our starry nights.
Following on from the production of "The Importance of Being Ernest" The Pleasure Dome Theatre Company will stage an adaptation of R. D. Blackmore's incredible novel Lorna Doone set in the striking landscape that inspired it.
The production will take place in The Valley of Rocks Lynton from 29th August - 2nd September 2017
The Lyn Food Fest is to be held in the Town hall and features lots of delicious food and drink to try and buy!
There will be local produce presented from a variety of independent food and drink exhibitors, as well as a bar and festival café.
The festival runs from 10:30 am until 4:30 pm and admission is FREE!

Tri The Beast 2016 took place on the weekend of 3rd & 4th September. This epic 70.3 triathlon started in the beautiful coastal town of Lynmouth in Exmoor National Park. The course took the competitors on a journey through the stunning North Devon countryside and over some of Exmoor’s most challenging hills.
