Pleasure Dome Theatre return to The Valley of the Rocks this summer with a wild Exmoor re-imagining of Oscar Wilde's comedy of manners: The Importance of Being Earnest. After last years triumph with their critically acclaimed Macbeth, they have turned their focus to this most English of comedies. This production will have some promenade elements so wrap up warm and expect physical theatre, music and imaginative costumes as this story weaves through the most stunning landscape Britain has to offer. Feel free to bring a picnic to eat before or in the interval. Sunday matinees at 14:00. No shows on Mondays. Safety Notice: The Valley of Rocks is a wild environment so care should be taken to walk on designated footpaths and to not wander away from the performance areas. Audience members attend entirely at their own risk and Pleasure Dome Theatre Company can accept no liability for any injury, howsoever incurred.
